• 2020 vs 2023

From Mike Powell@618:250/1 to ALL on Friday, October 06, 2023 09:35:00
    2020:

During Biden's campaign he promises, in no uncertain terms, that there will be no work done to continue building the border wall. Once elected, his administration ceases work on the wall.

The peanut gallery rejoices and claims Trump, and his supporters, are
horrible because they want to build the wall and for thinking it will work.

    2023:

Biden breaks his campaign promise, stating that although he does not really want to, because of record numbers of crossings, work must resume on building the wall in Texas.

The reaction of the peanut gallery will be very interesting. So far, some
are giving him a pass claiming that the wall must continue because evil
Trump allocated the money. However, the news is reporting that it is being done because Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection have stated
that it must resume in order to stem the tide of migrants -- apparently
    because they believe it works.

That is just what I was thinking.

All I expect now is for the West to collapse under its own weight, be plunged into savagery for a couple of generations, and give birth to a new civ after the turmoil is over.

It's not the countries I dislike; it's their governments (including our
    federal government especially).
