I have had a love of computers since my first TI-994a way back when. My favorite
hobby now is web design. I am a lot less active in sports now and I find myself always
looking for a reason to be on the computer to keep me busy.

I have had 3 new web design jobs in the past couple of weeks, and I love it. I live in a
community that has many clubs, and each one has a need for a website.

My latest can be found at: https://kpcornhole.com

When I met with the board to propose my offer, I let them know that I could offer them
a way for all 300 or so members to add their contact information by installing the same
script that I use to run my 28 online Directory websites.

The script allows members to fill out an online form containing fields for their address,
phone numbers, etc. This eliminates the need to continually update an Excel spreadsheet of membership. Members have the option to modify their listing should
they move or change phone numbers.

I always try to make a mobile-friendly site so visitors can view it on any device,
including a mobile phone. I always make phone numbers clickable links, so visitors can
use the link to easily make a call to that number while viewing the page.

I have been doing web design for many years, but I seem to be enjoying it now more
    than ever.

That was also my first home computer. ;) We used Commodores in school,
but I always prefered the TI.

Did you subscribe to Boardwalk magazine? I had a terminal speech emulator, and a
complete collection of the Plato educational series. I was really into it. I used to attend
TI users group meetings and got a lot of stuff from others that were into it as well.

No, I don't think I had heard of that one. We did buy some copies of a magazine that I think was called 99er? It would usually have a few
programs inside that you could key in to get a simple game or some utility.

We did have the speech emulator. We didn't have the plato series but we
did have a bunch of TI "tutorial" programs on tape that taught you basic
things about the computer and how to do simple things in TI Basic. Also
    had the Extended BASIC cart.

We used a tape deck to load programs. I didn't have a floppy until I
bought an old expansion system 10-15 years ago.
