Each week, I receive an email that lists my connection to famous people in a particular
niche of some sort. This week it is frontier notables. Per wikitree.com I am:

14 degrees from Daniel Boone - most famous for his early exploration and eventual
settlement of what is now Kentucky

16 degrees from John Adams - better known as "Grizzly Adams

18 degrees from James Beckwourth - credited with discovering a new route to central
California during the Gold Rush: from present-day Reno, Nevada, called the Beckwourth
    Pass

17 degrees from Jemmy Bird - frontiersman, trader, scout, guide, interpreter

18 degrees from Kit Carson - an American frontiersman and Indian fighter

16 degrees from William Clark - William Clark is widely remembered as an explorer and
for his role as co-leader during the Corps of Discovery, commonly referred to as the
    Lewis and Clark Expedition

17 degrees from James Clyman - one of the early Mountain Men of the American West,
most well known for his part in early trapping and exploration expeditions along the
Missouri and Platte Rivers and in what is now Wyoming, Idaho, and Utah

15 degrees from David Crockett - In 1812, David Crockett enlisted as a scout in the
Tennessee militia, represented Tennessee in the U.S. House of Representatives, and
served in the 20th US Congress

12 degrees from Louis Jolliet - Along with Jacques Marquette, he was the first non-
indigenous Canadian to explore and map much of the Mississippi River in 1673.

15 degrees from Esther Pariseau - Canadian religious sister who led a mission to the
Pacific Northwest of the United States where under her leadership, they established a
network of schools and healthcare to service the American settlers in that new and
    remote part of the country

16 degrees from Pierre Esprit Radisson - a French-Canadian explorer and fur trader

It is always interesting to visit the past to see how we are related to each other. I have
some ancestors that were black, bank robbers, politicians physicians, detectives, actors,
comedians. I guess that I am a collection of all of them, as we ALL are.

If you would like to find your connections to famous people, you can start by giving me
some basic information by going to: https://www.hobbyline.com/genealogy_web_design.htm and click on the 'Request Form'
    link.

I have researched the ancestry for many persons interested in their family history.
