I was diagnosed with Type II diabetes years ago and I also had both sections of Thyroid
removed due to cancer.. I moved to the Tampa area 9 years ago and could not find an
endocrinologist in my area.
I did a Google search for endocrinologist in the area and came across a Diabetes Relief
Center that does a specific type of treatment.
The treatment consists of a 2 hour controlled infusion of insulin that is meant to get your
pancreas to remember how to produce its own insulin. I have been doing this since mid
January and it seems to be working for me.
The treatment is called Physiologic Insulin Resensitization or PIR for short.
If you suffer from diabetes and are looking for an alternative treatment to combat it, you
might do a search for PIR in your area. It works for me.
