    Which has brought record inflation - food prices are ridiculous and are continuing to rise.

    Currentlly at a 40+ year high. The previous high was during the Carter "stagflation" period.

    is really happening? Employment is at an unprecedented low, inflation
    is not as bad in USA as elsewhere, and two bills have passed with major positive impact on the economy.

    That sounds a lot like what they're saying on TV, but when I look out
    the window I don't see a positively impacted economy, and I can't
    compare inflation here to inflation in other countries because I've
    never lived in another country, especially not for a long enough period
    of time to say "Inflation's worse here than it is in the USA."

    Inflation is not something that can be accurately measured by single observations -- it is measured based on lots of observations and data.
