The nature of all wars is politics.
Each and every one of us plays politics. At work, and at play.
It is part of who, and what, we are.
Clausewitz defined politics as war by other means.
That does not change the original statement.
We begin our wars the moment we are born.
We end our wars with our last breath.
Sometimes we win. Sometimes we lose. But we are
always at war while we are here.
There are no rules that can be written to change this.
And certainly none that can be imposed on others.
So why even try?
I wrote a set of rules, posting them to ALL.
It is the only fair set of rules that I could think of.
Of course, none of this makes them official rules of anything.
Feel free to write your own. Kind of fun. Just don't let
it get to your head. Some folks let it get out hand and can't
stop.
I do not know how many "POLITICS" echoes there are, or have
been, in Fidonet. The word itself is generic, and Fidonet has
been around for decades.
This echo, known as POLITICS, remains the same, a group
of people having a conversation about POLITICS. By their own
definition, or concept.
I am my own moderator.
You are your own moderator.
We are all our own moderators.
Everything else is a joke.
