I received my voter registration cards in the mail last week. They're not
worth much, as they're neither required nor sufficient ID to vote. However, they do indicate that I'm still registered to vote.

My wife passed away in 2016. She did not get a voter registration card this year, nor in 2020 or 2018. I never took any steps to unregister her. It looks like Texas, at least, is on top of removing the deceased from the voter
rolls.

I wouuld suspect that other states are, too.
