Title: Uncle Dave's E-Z Sloppy Joe's

1 1/2 lb Ground beef
1 md Onion; fine diced *
1 md Bell pepper; cored, fine
- diced *
2 ts Minced garlic
3 tb Red Gold sriracha ketchup
1 tb Tomato paste
1/2 c Beef broth
1 tb Brown sugar (highly opt)
1 ts Chilli spice mix; you choose
1 ts Yellow (French's) mustard
1 ts Worcestershire sauce
pn (big) red pepper flakes
1/2 ts (ea) salt & black pepper
6 lg Seeded hamburger buns;
- toasted
* Make the dicing easy with the "As seen on TV" Onion
chopper. For this recipe use the small (1/8") plate.

Cook the ground beef, onion and bell pepper in a large
skillet over medium heat, until beef is crumbled and
cooked through. Drain off any excess fat and return
skillet to stove top over medium heat.
Add in the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30
seconds. Add in the remaining ingredients and stir to
combine.
Let mixture simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes, to
allow flavors to blend. Taste and adjust seasonings to
your taste preference if desired. (see tips)
Serve over a toasted bun. Enjoy!
TIPS FOR ADJUSTING FLAVOR PROFILES:
More spicy - add in an extra pinch of red pepper flakes
or a few dashes of your favorite hot sauce
More smokey - double the chilli spice and a few extra
dashes of Worcestershire sauce
More tangy - stir in a little Dijon-style mustard or
add some Colman's mustard powder
