    Title: Brown Sugar Bacon Wrapped Weenies
    Categories: Five, Appetisers, Pork, Sausages
    Yield: 20 Servings

    16 oz Pkg all beef/pork hot dogs;
    - quartered crosswise
    1 lb Bacon; quartered across
    1/2 c Butter
    1/2 c Brown sugar

    Preheat the oven's broiler and set the oven rack
    about 6" from the heat source.

    Wrap hot dog pieces in bacon pieces and secure
    with toothpicks. Arrange on a baking sheet.

    Broil the hot dog pieces until bacon is crisp,
    turning once or twice, 3 to 5 minutes per side.
    Transfer to a serving platter.

    Melt butter in a saucepan and stir in brown sugar.
    Place over medium heat and bring to a boil, stirring
    until brown sugar has dissolved. Serve hot dog
    pieces with brown sugar sauce drizzled on top.

    Title: Bacon-Fried Apples - 3 Ways
    Categories: Five, Fruits, Pork, Herbs
    Yield: 4 Serving

    1 lg Red apple; cored and sliced
    - 1/4" thick
    2 tb Bacon drippings

    MMMMM--------------------CHOOSE YOUR FAVORITE-------------------------
    ds Cinnamon
    ds Nutmeg
    ds Garam masala

    Wash and slice apple in 1/4" slices.

    Heat bacon dripping in a frying pan over medium to
    medium-high heat until melted.

    Add the apples and allow to cook undisturbed for 2 - 3
    minutes to allow them the brown. Then flip and cook for
    an additional 2 - 3 minutes.

    Sprinkle with the seasoning of your choice of cinnamon,
    nutmeg or garam masala. Or a combination.

    Enjoy!

    You might want to double the recipe if you intend to
    share. I would happily gobble up the entire thing myself
