MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

Title: Big Burger

Yield: 6 servings

1 1/2 lb Lean ground beef
1 sm Onion; fine chopped
1 ts (ea) salt & black pepper
1/4 lb Cheddar cheese; sliced
6 Iceberg or romaine lettuce
- leaves
1 (8") round loaf bread;
- halved horizontally

Set oven @ 375+|F/190+|C.

Coat a 9" pie plate with cooking spray.

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, salt, and
pepper; mix well and form into a large hamburger patty.
Place in pie plate and bake 30 minutes.

Remove from oven and top with cheese slices. Return to
oven and bake 5 to 8 minutes, or until no pink remains
in ground beef and cheese is melted.

Place lettuce leaves over bottom half of bread, then top
with burger. Replace top of bread, cut into wedges, and
serve.
