I used FD and RA somewhere around the mid nineties.

The mailer in BBBS still does dial-up (if you have a modem) and does EMSI over telnet if you want to do that.

I also use it for my old 1995 DOS BBS...

Do you still have BBBS setup for IFC(?) to connect via frontdoor? I am reworking my OS2 bbs & would love to get frontdoor & fastecho working again.

I still run Frontdoor as my mailer in MSDOS. Trying to be as close to my old bbs I ran in the 80s and early 90s.

There are a few fido hubs out there that allow a telnet connections for mail drops.

    Cheers, Joe

I gave up using FD as my telnet mailer about 10 years back. FD Z-modem was either rock on steady or horrible. I got tired of playing. :)

    Hey Phil!

I was thinking of you the other day :) I'm doing well, thanks. I hope all is going well for you! We were down for quite a bit yesterday due to a really bad Thunder/Lightning Storm along with super _wicked_ winds...

The area around here was hit pretty bad, businesses had trees falling on buildings, etc. We lost Electric and Internet... Luckily, our generator was able to "save" most of our food in the freezer, but it was a nasty storm...
