Title: Bacon Wrapped Bananas

Yield: 10 Servings
1/4 c Soy sauce
1 tb Honey
4 Ripe bananas; each in 5
- chunks
10 sl Bacon; halved across
20 Toothpicks
Whisk soy sauce and honey together in a large bowl; add
bananas and stir to coat bananas in marinade. Refrigerate
for 30 minutes. Remove banana chunks and reserve marinade.
Set oven rack about 6" from the heat source and preheat
the oven's broiler.
Wrap bananas with bacon and secure by threading a
toothpick through the bacon. Dip wrapped bananas in
reserved marinade and arrange on a baking sheet.
Broil in the preheated oven until bacon is browned and
crispy, 8 to 10 minutes.

Title: Traditional Banana Split

Yield: 1 Serving
1/2 c Scoop vanilla ice cream
1/2 c Scoop chocolate ice cream
1/2 c Ccoop strawberry ice cream
1 lg Ripe banana
2 tb Chocolate syrup or Hot Fudge
2 tb Strawberry ice cream topping
2 tb Crushed pineapple
2 tb Wet walnut ice cream topping
Whipped cream
Cherries
Line up ice cream scoops next to each other in an oval
deep dish or a banana boat.
Cut the ends of the banana off (about 1/4 inch) while
still in the peel.
Slice in half longways.
Pop each half of the banana out of the peel onto each
side of the ice cream row, pressing down and in a little
so it'll stay put.
Top the vanilla ice cream with the pineapple, the
chocolate with the chocolate syrup and the strawberry
with the strawberry sauce.
Spoon the wet walnuts over all three scoops of ice
cream.
Top each scoop with some whipped cream and a cherry for
each.
