I wonder who makes it for them. The USDA thing is how I learned the GFS soup bases are from Minor's .... at 1/3 less $$$. I likes me bargains.

The price for the Minor's Chicken Base is U$12 for a 1 lb. (454 g) tub.
The GFS (same product, same container, different label) is U$8 The U$4 difference between 8 and 12 is 1/3. And I do appreciate a bargain.

5 g GFS Gluten Free Chicken Base
4 oz (120 ml) Greek-style yoghurt
1/4 c (60 ml) mayonnaise
1 tb Red wine vinegar
1 ts Fresh oregano; chopped
1/2 ts Lemon zest
1 lb (455 g) chicken; cooked, in
- small dice
1 oz (28 g) Feta cheese; small
- dice
1 tb Chopped black olive
1/3 c (30 g) cucumber; w/peel, raw
1/8 c (15 g) bell pepper; small
- dice
1/8 c (15 g) red onion; small dice
1/8 c (8 g) sun-dried tomatoes;
- rehydrated, chopped
Whisk together the first six ingredients.
Fold in remaining ingredients.
