SOJOURNER TRUTH DELIVERS HER FAMOUS 'AIN'T I A WOMAN?' SPEECH: African American abolitionist and women's rights activist Sojourner Truth attends
the Ohio Women's Rights Convention in Akron, where she delivers an
impromptu speech that will become known as 'Ain't I a Woman?' Differing versions of her speech will be published, but an 1863 account—which,
among other inaccuracies, incorrectly gave her a Southern accent—will
become the historical standard.

Title: Sojourner Spicy Sesame Noodles
Categories: Pasta, Vegetables, Herbs, Sauces
Yield: 1 serving
84 g Packet instant ramen noodles
20 g Peanuts
10 g Roasted sesame seeds
1/2 g Dehydrated Sriracha
1/4 g Dehydrated Thai basil
1/4 g (1/8 ts) ground ginger
1/4 g Dehydrated green onion
1/4 g Dehydrated cilantro
1/4 g True Lime
5 g Dehydrated corn
20 g (2 pkt) soy sauce
14 g (1 tb) sesame oil
1/4 g ground pepper
Between the Thai basil, sesame oil, and Sriracha there's
enough flavor to cure the worst cases of food fatigue.
It might even put you into shock, and it's all thanks to
instant ramen. I've professed my unwavering love in the
Faux Pho for the Trail recipe, and while I'm resisting
every temptation to pursue legislation legalizing the
marriage of man and noodle, I just need to say, ramen is
so damn versatile.
Fill pot with water, add corn, and put on heat.
Bring water to a simmer.
Add ramen noodles, stirring occasionally until noodles
are cooked to desired texture.
Drain, but not too thoroughly.
Quickly add small bits of Sriracha, stir until dissolved.
Taste frequently, dehydrated Sriracha is spicier than
it looks.
Add sesame oil and soy sauce.
Add all remaining dry ingredients.
Stir until thoroughly mixed.
