    MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

    Title: Justine's Crêpes W/Caramel Apples
    Categories: Breads, Fruits
    Yield: 4 servings

    4 lg Eggs
    200 g Flour
    250 ml Milk
    60 g Caster sugar
    +=PLUS==+
    70 g Sugar
    50 g Butter; melted
    2 Green apples
    Lemon zest
    pn Cinnamon

    Sift the flour. Make a well in the middle and break
    eggs. Mix until combined and gradually add the milk,
    sugar, melted butter, lemon zest and cinnamon. Mix well
    to make sure there are no lumps.

    Set aside.

    In another pan add the remaining sugar and melt to make
    a caramel. Add peeled and quartered apples and cook for
    10 minutes or until soft.

    To make crepes, heat a pan and add oil, pour in a ladle
    full of crepe mix and spread around pan. Cook for 1
    minute on each side.

    To serve, fold crepes in quarters and spoon over some
    caramel apples. Add ice cream if you like!

    JUSTINE’S TOP TIPS FOR THE PERFECT CREPE!

    1. Rest your batter overnight in the fridge

    2. Invest in a good quality #crepe pan

    3. Get the crepes as thin as possible by swirling the
    batter all the way to the edges

    4. FLIP HIGH!

    Title: Gourmet Caramel Apples
    Categories: Fruits, Chocolate, Candy
    Yield: 8 servings

    4 lg Tart apples
    4 Wooden pop sticks
    1 c Milk chocolate chips
    1 c Semisweet chocolate chips
    4 1/2 oz White candy coating; coarse
    - chopped
    1 ts Shortening
    11 oz Bag Kraft caramel bits
    2 tb Water
    4 Pretzel rods; coarse
    - crushed
    1/2 c Reese's pieces

    Line a baking sheet with waxed paper and grease the
    paper; set aside. Wash and thoroughly dry apples. Insert
    a pop stick into the top of each; set aside.

    Place chocolate chips in separate microwave-safe bowls.
    Heat in a microwave until melted; stir until smooth. In
    another microwave-safe bowl, melt candy coating and
    shortening; stir until smooth.

    Combine caramels and water in another microwave-safe
    bowl. Heat in a microwave until melted; stir until
    smooth. Dip apples into caramel; turn to coat.
    Immediately press pretzels and Reese's pieces into sides
    of apples. Drizzle melted chocolate and candy coating
    over tops. Place on prepared pan; let stand until set.
