    Very cool! Thanks for coming back! We need lots of dedicated sysops, especially those who were there in the Hery Days, when callers were not scarce.

    I've only been a co-sys, not an actual sysop (yet)

    I managed to understand that & put it into my 'dialer' & connect first try (just now)

    ooo, that's an older one, eh? So you just rebooted your old setup on the same computer? Do you have a newer machine for your own personal computer/internet/etc. use?

    My old machine, was a True Blue IBM (MCA) 486 with a 400Mv HDD & an 80Mb HDD, both doubled using Stac Tech (the one that Microsoft stole in MSDOS 6.2, & their theft was so egregious that even with millions of dollars in lawyers, microsoft lost the court case! I think they technically settled with Stac out of court to license the technology for an undisclosed fee & replace DOS 6.2 with 6.22 (which is running on that 4896, as soon as I can get some help to physically hook it back up (I've upgraded it in the intervening years, even though just in the closet; I've got a 21" SVGA CRT that'll be better for my aching aging eyes when I get it all back up, & reconnect with Fido as a point on it.

    I remember he talk of OS2 & OS3 back in the day, but never took the leap to try something new (my next new OS will likely be Ubuntu Linux (I'll have choice of CLI, which I love(My motto was "DOS IST GUT!"), or GUI with the GNOME add-on.

    But I want to run it as triality boot for my Win10, DOS6.22(with Win 3.11 as the shell), & Linux. . .
