Does anyone know of or remember a sysop in McKinney, TX named Frank Vest? He ran Collin County Station BBS and while looking him up, I saw he was using Synchronet. I met him once and he was old then so maybe he's passed on.

I remember Frank. He was the Fidonews editor for quite awhile, and he was interviewed for "BBS: The Documentary"

He kind of fell off the BBS plane of existence shortly after the documentary came out, but I didn't think he was that old at the time.

Yep, its been many years but he was kinda regu;ar on dovenet, I used to be the qwk hub for AcNet and a BBS League network and I believe he pulled mail off me,have'nt heard from him in a long time.

found him on facebook. he's doing fine.
he's not THAT old. he's old but looks healthy.
