Yes. I also don't see straight white men having such a monopoly on entitledness, either. I see it in a lot of younger people regardless of race, gender, or sexual orientation.
They also mistake older people who worked hard for what they have as "entitled" when they just want to protect what they've earned. The key there is they "worked hard" for it and don't expect anything above what
they worked for, unlike the entitled youth who thinks their short time of (maybe) working entitles them to the same things.

Missouri tried to ban child marriage but ran into resistance from house republicans.
Seven of the 14 committee members oppose the legislation and disagree with raising the state's marriage age, he said. "It's on the.going 16 to 18,"

Are you really implying that referring to straight white men as straight white men is just as hurtful as referring to LGBTQ people as fags,
pedos, & groomers? Really??!! Seriously??!!
You used it as a derogatory term, just as people use the words you mention as derogatory terms, also.
My question in all this crap is why do people think they need label, I don't >want someome to think of me as a straight white male or a gay black toaster or >whatever, because publicly my sexual orientation is no ones business.. or >anything else to that matter.. I've never understood this..
I love /s how my desire to have the same rights as straight people is considered an "agenda" & how my desire to not be murdered is considered my "view". That's really all Pride is about, our demands (you're damn well right,
we DEMAND) to be safe & have the same rights as everyone else, including the right to fair jobs access, fair housing, everything that straight people expec
for themselves. Pride is about normalizing our existence in the world, not about trying to "shove our views in everyone's face".
(Naaah, military-industrial complex shareholders wouldn't stand for it.)
I'd go the American way and turn it into a comercial festivity with discounts and liquidations of old stocks.
"Celebrate peace month with us! 40% off in any obsolete weaponry! Help the planet purchasing refurbished tanks instead of having new ones made! Try now our steel ammo, much less poisonous to the environment than traditional lead ammo, 30% off this month only!!!!"
So it is only legal with parental consent. They are not trying to *make it legal*, it is *already* legal.
By the way, you don't have to pick on a "hick state" for this, either. California also allows persons under 18 to marry with parental consent,
just like Missouri does.

Yeah. I WISH my parents had a basement.
I wish mine still lived in their previous home. It had a finished basement (well, technically it was a bi-level) complete with bathrooms and bedrooms.
That'd be a nice setup! :D
Now, my mother lives in a much smaller home with no basement, while my father and his wife live in a home with a clean, dry basement but with no facilities. It does at least have electric and is a walk out. ;)

was 28 and I still want a cig when I smell someone smoking one. If you have friends who smoke you pretty much have no chance of quitting.
i actually somewhat miss it when people could smoke indoors. i remember one weekend everyone hanging out in the bar having a blast and the next weekend the law changed and it became this routine of people heading back and forth to smoke while i sat inside waiting. i don't miss hanging my jacket up on the deck to air it out though..
I had a lot of relatives, but none I lived with, that were life-long smokers at the time. It was really difficult for them to even consider stopping. What surprised me was how many people my age, and slightly younger, who picked up the habit despite the dire warnings.

I quit in 2008 and other than the normal bs that goes with being a diabetic, I didn't really have any other issues.
My wife finally quit a little over a year ago. It was killing her. Less that three weeks after quitting, her face had completely changed and she looked much more lively and younger. She can't breathe anymore and she has gained about 20 lbs but I am just so glad she finally quit...

Awesome that you kicked that. But, if you ever (EVER) decide to try again, PLEASE remember that you don't need to take as much as you did when you regularly did them, and only take a tiny fraction of what you did before.
