How to Join the Fight

1. Download Zandronum (Multiplayer Doom Engine):
   
   • Windows: Zandronum Download Page - Download the Windows installer and install it.
   • Linux: Zandronum Download Page - Download the correct Linux build and extract it.
2. Get Doom II WAD (DOOM2.WAD):
   
   • You need the original DOOM2.WAD file. This is required and not included with Zandronum. You must own a copy of Doom II (e.g., from Steam or GOG).
   • After installing Doom II, look for DOOM2.WAD in your game folder (often in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Doom 2\base\ on Windows).
   • Copy DOOM2.WAD into your Zandronum folder.
3. (Optional) Download DoomSeeker:
   
   • DoomSeeker is a server browser that makes joining servers easy.
4. Connect to the Server:
   • With DoomSeeker:
     - Launch DoomSeeker.
     - Look for A-Net Doom Server in the list (or add it manually).
     - Server Address: doom.a-net.online:10666
   • Manually (Zandronum):
     - Open a terminal/command prompt in your Zandronum directory.
     - Run:
     zandronum.exe -iwad DOOM2.WAD -connect doom.a-net.online:10666
5. Have Fun!
   
   • Frag your friends, try all maps, and enjoy classic DOOM action!

Troubleshooting & FAQ

• Can't find DOOM2.WAD? You need to legally own Doom II and copy the WAD from your installation directory.
• Connection refused? Double-check the IP and port, and make sure your firewall allows Zandronum.
