    My 15 year-old daughter is watching ASMR videos on YouTube of people typing on mechanical keyboards. She wants one now.

    She was trying to explain the sound a mechanical keyboard makes. To ME.

    I have a Logitech MX Master keyboard at my desk. Next to it, my 1991 IBM Model M keyboard. Now, that's a click!

    Clown-show RGB lighting aside, there are some surprisingly decent quality, incredibly, like, dirt-cheap "gaming" mechanical keyboards out there these days, if you're afraid this is going to be a fleeting interesting of hers. :P

    I bought a nice no-ten-key keyboard for something around $27 - I loved the color scheme. Used it for an hour until my wife heard it, and had to return it. Too loud for her.

    I'll have to get my daughter a brown switch keyboard - and hope that would be quiet enough.

    I bought a mechanical keyboard with blue switches, just for the clickiness of the buttons... had to give it and replace it with a membrane one, cause of my wife :(
