    I had a PiBoy DMG, didn't the creator just drop off the face of the earth or something? Everyone was pissed that there would be no further updates. Shame.

    I had a PiBoy DMG, didn't the creator just drop off the face of the
    earth or something? Everyone was pissed that there would be no further updates. Shame.

    Yea - Mike... it wouldn't be such a bad thing, but he turned it into a rugpull as he left with open RMAs and orders around the tune of 5K.

    Also, in a perfect world he would have sold, transferred or open-sourced the project as theres many users with unworking DMGs. I have loved owning it and all it needs is a new battery that you can source externally...

    I just don't understand why you'd rugpull for 5K - I assume they just couldn't manage even that amount (Which I'm SURE someone would have taken it on if he transferred the entire biz...) and just went ghost. Sad.

    Nice! How'd you make it?

    I tried to read the Retropie/Emulationstation documentation, but it seems a bit outdated, so i had to look into other themes code. It's all .xml so it's easy to read and understand.

    Basically i found elements that i liked from other themes and embedded them to this one. I also add the 8bit retro images.

    The theme is updated with more images :)

    I really liked the PiBoy XRS, but i read some bad critic about the quality and didn't get one. But the form factor and the idea to have a full Raspberry Pi was awesome.

    It was right around the XRS release that the 'company' fell apart, so maybe a good thing that you didn't...

    As mentioned, I love mine - but its a product gone to nothing since the users have no assets for future anything... fun.
