Merry Christmas from Demonic. Two new Demonic release from XQTR! Anagram^5, sweet word puzzle door game, as well as a couple of guides on DOSEMU and QEMU setup. I'm definitely curious to hear about what people think of Anagram, because so far we're loving it.

Download from Distortion or Another Droid, or check my blog for some more info and download links:

Why's that? Compatibility with old softs like Renegade? (Personally, that's the main reason I release 16 bit doors still, and I think Xqtr feels the same way these days.)

No DDPLUS though - this uses Demonic's door kit, XDoor, although this uses a highly modified version that Xqtr is working on.

I love programming in TP7 :) it's so straight forward for me :)

I am not using DDPLUS, but an altered version of XDOOR. At the end, most, if not all, old TP door kits, were almost the same, as they were using the elenorm library. Even some "modern" for FreePascal do. The changes are in the way they apply the different utility functions.

I hope, users will enjoy the game and sysops use the door setup tutors ;)

I hate to "well, actually..." you but this is far from accurate. Very few TP door kits use ELENORM. In fact, even XDOOR itself only moved to ELENORM in v3.00 to add easy compatibility for telnet/door32.sys via Virtual Pascal. Not sure what they were based on, but DDPLUS had its only comm routines. That said, I agree with your general point, especially these days when we almost exclusively use fossil drivers (or emulation) so needing to worry about some of the trickier aspects of comm routines, odd proprietary hardware support, etc. really isn't an issue like it was when thinks like DDPLUS, AsyncPro, etc. were in their prime.
