    Dropped a new mod today. Not something anyone is going to care about since it's for a relatively unknown (and definitely unused) software AND it doesn't actually work to boot, but it's another REF scripting example, at least. :)

    Link on my blog, file on Distortion, and soon other places once it spreads around.

    What is it?

    It's a "rumors" door (well, it's a REF script for REFDoor) for Instinct 3.0. It lets you add a rumor and view a list of the existing rumors. It outputs the list of rumors formatted so that Instinct itself can embed a random one in a menu prompt (or literally anywhere, really) using its @TYPE control code. Truthfully, I did it for myself since I've been slowly but surely working on an Instinct BBS for a while now. :P

    Ha! It's easy to feel that way when you spend hours and hours tweaking the code, drawing art for it, and get it working just as you planned, only to discover that the feature you were relying on to implement the important part (the displaying of the actual rumor) is buggy as fuck and more or less unusable. I probably should have tested it first. Oh well. :P
