    As you read in the Demonic Public area, the InterBBS Database mod is released, which you can also find and install from my github repo at:

    https://github.com/xqtr/xqbbsdb

    The code is open source and it would be really nice, if someone else got the code and made a version for other BBS software like Syncronet, Enigma and other.

    The "ping" packet, is just a json structure of BBS data, encrypted with a ROT47 algorithm. A Python version for the ROT47 encryption can be found in the bbsdbcom.py file.

    If someone wants more info about the data format and/or want to make a version for other BBS software, can contact me through this echonet. I would be happy to help.
