Quite recently I found QB64 being really fun and enjoyable BASIC platform works on Windows, Linux and MacOS, including M1/Silicon chips.
How these two compare? Any experience?
For sure QB64 is a more big/complete project. Hobby Basic is just for Windows and less capable, but still can do a lot of stuff, specially in the ANSI area. In the package are included some ANSI/ASCII games and even an ANSI editor. With HB you can do many things very quick and although it's BASIC for sure it's not QB.
For someone who wants to remember the old DOS QB, QB64 is a one way ticket :)
