I really can understand the door not being for Windows. What I can't understand is a door server that doesn't support windows clients. You should support most clients. I'll mention this until it's addressed.

Why are you so obsessed about this?

Ultimately, he has the freedom to do whatever the hell he wants. It's his game, he made it.

I personally don't want to see you "mention this until it's addressed." It's annoying. Email him (or if it is on github, go there) with a proper feature request, and maybe he will look into it at some point.

All this commotion for you to potentially play it for 5 minutes, bad mouth it and say it's too hard, and never play it again. :|

I don't want to play it, I want it available to Windows BBSes is all.

I'll try to be more constructive. Now, I'm running an sbbs game server. Is there any way to connect to this from sbbs (windows) that has been confirmed? Are there any windows and linux sbbs programming type sysops that could make this work?

Sure, maybe he doesn't need to keep harping on it, but in Shurato's defense, I think its because it was initially described as a new BBS door game, but was almost immediately revealed to not actually be a door game by most accepted definitions. Not only is it *not* a door game, but it can't easily be made to behave like one for a lot of SysOps. Kind of a bummer.

I'll tell you what. You can help me get Windows working in a VM, and I will make a Windows build for you. I'm having problems doing it myself. I know it has something to do with the BIOS settings, problem is, i don't know which ones. Deal?

    Thanks,

Sure! Though I would be more than happy if I could just telnet in from a Windows System. What version and bit are you trying to get running. I'd sttongly suggest 10 32bit Pro.

If it's Windows 11 the virtual machine will need secure boot and the TPM
stuff turned on in the virtual machine settings...

Windows 10 won't need TPM and may be easier...

Netmail me, it doesn't matter what name it goes to, I'll see it. I don't
know if you got mine because I used a handle and generally systems require
real names for netmail. If I don't answer to zeronet netmail, try fidonet at 1:340/1101.
