Changes/Updates:
+ Implemented a "running mode' where the player can run to wherever the cursor is positioned.
+ Allow Wizard class to heal not only itself, but other players and allies.
If anyone finds any bugs in the program, plese let me know. I hangout in #mysticbbs on EFNet.
The BBS you're logging in from is Win32, but this game is Linux only? Give us a win32 port!

You can still access the server without using Windows. Just telnet to the host and port number. AFAIK, Windows has a default telnet client. It may not display properly, however.

My BBS can telnet out. I can't run any more VMs though, so a linux one
is out of the question. What host and port should I use?

Text formatting is way off. If I enter a key for username or password, it accepts it as the username or password. This doesn't appear functional to use with telnetdoor. Do I need to specify a terminal type or something? You can test it from shsbbs.net /Doors/Fantasy/Roguelikes/igRogue (D/F/7/0). I get the same results with the windows telnet app.

It might have to do that the required resolution is nonstandard, ie, not
80 by 25.

It should be online. For some reason, the server disconnects after a bit. I'm
not sure why.
Ok, I'll keep trying. I'm really interested to see if the term type
fixes my issue.

I wrote a shell script to detect if the server is down or not. It should respawn the starting of the server if isn't connected. Hopefully it woks.
I've been unable to connect for quite some time now. Does anyone else have better luck?

There's your problem. You are invoking it wrong. Try this:
telnetdoor.exe -Scatch22bbs.org -P1337 -Zansi-bbs

telnetdoor -Scatch22bbs.org:1337 -Dc:\ele\node%1\door32.sys -W0
Why won't anyone else respond about this door? Am I the only one
trying to use it, or since no one else is having problems they won't
even tell me that?

It's possible you're the only one trying to use it.
However, so you don't go completely nuts because nobody is responding to you, I'm on it right now from my Linux console just by typing:
telnet catch22bbs.com 1337
I'm currently looking at the chat history, the fact that I have chosen the Necromancer class, some kind of mini map on the screen, and when I hit "?" it shows me a menu of available commands. Then I hit 'q' to quit or commit suicide and it hung up on me. Seems to work fine there.
Using Syncterm on Windows, the words are all over the screen. Hitting any single key seems to hit enter, just like you mentioned.
There you go, sir/massah. Now you have your confirmation.
Thanks, and I can't even successfully connect right now... At least
you verified the issues I was having.

That's exactly it. I don't use Windows. Sorry, man.
Sorry for the dual messages, BTW. It saved before I could do anything.

You don't have to apologize to me. It worked fine from my Linux machine, and you gave fair warning about Windows when you originally announced it.
Sorry for the dual messages, BTW. It saved before I could do anything.
No worries. You quoted what I wrote, so you definitely were able to hit "/Q". Could it be possible you tried to quote the message again and hit "/S" by accident instead?

Not necessarily. My editor quotes automatically and if it saves immediately, those are the exact results.

I have no idea. I can't remember.

Try now. I fixed a few things.
