    Not sure if this should go in hacking or programming. Could someone modify
    and compile scott.c (from any scott adams adventure) to not allow saving?

    The source is available in any of the game archives. You could search for "Adventureland" on my system. Thanks!

    I could have disabled the saves in the source code. I don't know how to compile under DOS...

    Ah, didn't realize, my bad. I don't know why but I always assume someone compiling something means they are using linux lol.

    Interesting about the malware, I use it all the time. I'll have to research why...

    Ack, found that that executable didn't run later modules. Grab the "Golden Voyage" source code and modify that... I tried to modify it myself, but it still saves. Just says it doesn't.

    It's on my board and you no longer have a post:call restriction. Though as
    I mentioned, I found frotz mods for these games and it's no longer needed.
