Hey fam, just wanted to give a heads up that Daydream now has a complete python 2 and python 3 API for making doors and addons and stuff.

This is awesome - will update on 2oFB, thank you. One note - this always comes up with Github projects; I wish the releases could be named in a bbS-friendly way, just with version #s at the end... No biggy - I'll
make changes to filename and add to my bbS.

Yeah, I thought about that a bit myself. Maybe I can cut a new release
one of these days and then do that along with more bleeding edge stuff
on github.
Awesome! I suspect that easy either incredibly or a massive pain in
the ass to implement. :P
Agreed! There's a very easy to use feature in GitHub called "Releases" where you can essentially snapshot a commit and tag it with a version number, and even attach files to it (so you could have the binaries or
an archive for that specific version.) I use this with all my stuff.

I was literally up all night working on this lol. I actually just got it fully working and ironed the kinks out about an hour ago.
Maybe you'd be willing to give me a quick down-n-dirty in that case?
Yep! I could throw one up on my blog for everyone's benefit, actually.
I'll add it to my homework pile for this week. :P It's really not hard
to use at all, but I notice not a lot of people use it so maybe this
will encourage some of us to do it more. Especially with us old scene types, it's a nice crossover between the old versioned releases and
the more "living" repo style - why not do both if its easy to do?! :)
That's a great idea, I fully support this :P

Short and sweet, but hey, I told you it was simple. :)

i'm a total git noob but i think there's a lot more options as well like setting up automation to package the releases etc (we showed an automated testing process in the impulse bbs video) , i'd like to do some more work around git and bbs software
