What speed should I pick in my ANSI editor to emulate around 38400?
It's 0-255, which doesn't tell me much... Does anyone have experience
with this? I tried asking in fsxnet and didn't get much help.
So you may have to actually, you know, test different settings on your own and see what works best for you and/or your users.

I imagine most people don't use that 'feature' you speak of. So you may have to actually, you know, test different settings on your own and see what works best for you and/or your users.

Yep, unfortunately I think this is the answer. I don't believe those display speeds in correlate directly to modem speeds *and* I also think they're dependent to the speed of machine they're being displayed on, so you'll just want to experiment.

I always save w/o any speed settings/codes IN the ANSi, and make those changes using the BBS software. In Mystic I think the code is (! = | so it doesn't trigger Mystic codes) !DI##... ## = 00 = No baud emulation
01-09 = 300baud 10-19 = 1200baud 20-29 = 2400baud 30-39 = 4800baud
40-49 = 9600baud 50-59 = 19200baud 60-69 = 28800baud 70-79 =
38400baud 80-89 = 57600baud 90-99 = 115200baud
