|10XT|08>|02 Didn't see any posts in here at all, so I thought I'd make one...|03
That was on me, I needed to rescan the echo. The messages are all here
now.
|10XT|08>|02 I'd like to hear about what you all use to connect up to BBSs today?|03
|10XT|08>|02 I have an Amiga 500 and other than that just SyncTERM on my pc.|03 I mostly use Syncterm on a laptop for convenience, but I really love
connecting with either my Amiga 1200 or Vampire v4+ Standalone. The
best, by far, is the A1200 since it is connected to a Commodore 1084P
CRT. Once you've experienced BBS art with glorious phosphor glow,
nothing else compares!
|10XT|08>|02 It's defaintely fun connecting up this way. I was a big BBSer back in|03
|10XT|08>|02 the day on my C64 running up long distance charges. Seems like after|03
|10XT|08>|02 that the PC took over and I didn't do much BBSing on my PC, that became|03
|10XT|08>|02 all about games! My Radio Shack Tandy 1000 HX and a copy of Starflight|03
|10XT|08>|02 and Sentinel Worlds 1 was all I needed at the time... (Maybe that's all|03
|10XT|08>|02 I need now too?)|03
I have no idea how I missed Sentinel Worlds. I just looked it up and the screenshots look amazing! Does the gameplay still stand up today?
