    I'm new to Micronet and i'm trying to do a %RESCAN without any luck.
    How do I do a %RESCAN of all areas?

    Thanks! I didnt realize I needed to add the base on a seperate line.
    Areafix for Micronet(Fastecho) is a bit different than wjat I'm used to.

    Areafix for Micronet(Fastecho) is a bit different than wjat I'm used to.

    For some software, like if your hub is running Synchronet, I have found
    that %RESCAN works best if sent in separate message after you add the echo.
    If you try to add and then rescan in the same message, in that order, for
    some reason it will process the rescan first anyway and tell you that you
    are not subscribed. Then it will process the add even though you had it at
    the top of the message.

    At least that is my experience.

    There are slight differences in AreaFix handling in the various FTN software packages. I agree with Dan; when you first connect to a new network do an AreaFix request for %HELP. That should give you instructions and probably examples of how your link's system needs requests to be formatted for correct processing.
