You ever think of doing HVAC or something, its easy work and theDamn good money too from what I've heard.
If you like working holidays and emergency calls you can make an
absolute killing doing it.

No no not residental do the bigger stuff. The large systems are cake,
the compressors are all on racks and the componenets are spread all
over the pad spaced out. No attic, no knee work.
If you like working holidays and emergency calls you can make an absolute killing doing it.
But - don't do it where I live, May to Oct it's over 100 pretty much everyday. Hanging out in a hot attic would be no fun.

The direct tv guy cut the ducting for the AC in the attic and took it
over where he was working then did a horrible job taping it back up.

did he cut it or just disconnect it so it would cool him while he was work in the super hot attic?

It looked like he knifed it and then dragged it over to the corner he was working in then dragged it back and taped it back up.
oh, i'm used to sheet metal style duct work.
i didnt know that cheap stuff was up to code.
flex hose crap. The house itself is made of Ikea wood framing and shot with stucko overspray ( you can literally put your pinky finger through it with any amount of force ) they forgot flashings when they built them and even the plumbing is plastic and laid into the concrete slab foundation.
