  • Subtitled Biden

    I am used to watching a news program and seeing someone from another
    country, whose first language is not English, being subtitled when they are speaking (either in English with an accent, or in their native tongue).

    Has anyone noticed that the news (or maybe the administration) has recently started subtitling Joe Biden also? I most recently saw it on CBS, yesterday morning, when he was talking about Taiwan. I did not have any problems understanding him as he was coherent and, at least during the brief clip
    they played, he did not appear to make any gaffes or go off-script.

    Seemed very odd to me.
