I like that idea, but it's not the ultimate solution to election corruption. Every city makes their own corrupt election laws, so if candidates are not taking millions from George Soros then they're changing "election day" to "election week" to allow time for the tide to turn, or they're doing "unnanounced road work" on major streets on election day in conservative regions. This country sucks at handling elections. Do they have more integrity in Sweden?

Not that I know of. Note that there is the IRS who collect taxes and
the Campaign Finance folks who monitor donations to political
candidates. This thread was about campaign donations. The IRS does not
get involved in them, candidates are supposed to report donations.

There is a law that a donation to anyone of more than US$10,000 needs
to be reported to IRS and that there is a special gift tax on it.
