    Probably because it's not true. The cartels don't traffick people. They charge them for protection and passage. That's still
    dispicable, but not
    human trafficking.

    That is a very fine line and Jeff knows it.

    The term human trafficking denotes the situation where people are made
    slaves of the criminal group and forced to perform acts that they would
    not otherwise do. The most common example is importing young women
    (usually east Europeans or Russians) and making them sex slaves once
    they are here.

    If the immigrants are no longer in the control of the cartels once they
    get dry feet on USA soil, then they are not being trafficked -- but they
    were exploited in getting here.

    The naivety of you lefties.... Do you realize how many of the illegals under 18 are MS13 members? The low estimate is 37% many in law enforcement but it into the mid 40% range. Now lets talk trafficking...
