I am going to go ahead and say the topic of "sysoping" and
"creating a bbs on the cheap" has moved to officially off-topic as it has touched on network politics, which is against the rules of this echo.

So I am no longer suggesting, but requesting, that it either move elsewhere
or cease. Be careful about the elsewhere you choose, too. Some of the othernets have strict rules about moving existing discussions from other networks (including/especially FIDO) into their networks. I don't want
anyone getting in trouble with the maintainers of those networks, so it
would be best to keep it in FIDO or drop it.

Also, let's try to tone down the name calling. If you feel like you are trolling, you probably are. If you are trying to imitate someone you
believe is a troll, then you are also trolling. Let's be as constructive as
we can while discussing Politics. That is difficult, I know, as politics is
a contentious topic and often hits people's nerves.

Let's let the moderator decide who the trolls are, and don't put yourself
into a position where you could be the one embarrassed when I ask *you* to
stop trolling or name calling. :)

Those are the "rules".

Therefore, every participant in this echo is free to post whatever
they want on the topic(s) of their own choice. Regardless of what any
single individual who might object might want.
