The only CEO for a Swedish ISP, Bahnhof (Jon Karlung) that always has stood up for a free, uncensored internet, even when the US media industry tried to force him to block "unwanted" web sites, has now announce that he'll start a new radio station, Echo Sthm -- as opposed to Mad Vlad's Echo Moscow -- from Stockholm.

It will be sent not only via internet, but also via short wave radio, hoping to get more stations around the world to pick up the internet broadcast and relay it via short wave.

The only information I have at the moment is an article on the government owned Swedish SVT.SE. I don't know how well Google Translate can translate it, but here it is (in Swedish) :

I've asked for more details about it, such as an URL, and more importantly what SW frequencies will be used. As soon as I get more details, I'll post it here.

    Echo Sthm

Actually it's Echo Sthlm (I really should know how the capital of Sweden is shorted...).

And I've got the URL for the broadcast:

    https://echosthlm.se/

It's an existing radio station (Nord Stream 3) that has changed name, and now is dedicated to assist the Russian Spring, that'll hopefully come out of Mad Vlad's criminal behaviour.

Every SW radio operator, that has a rig that can reach deep into Mad Vlad's empire, can send an email to radio@nordstream3.org and declare interest.

Oh, the old name Nord Stream 3 referred of course to Mad Vlad's Nord Stream 2, that was supposed to send gas to mainland Europe, only this stream has sent free information the other way, for a long time.

I like it. But will it have its reporters also on the Russian side of
the events? Or it will translate news from Kiev?

How can you expect reporters to report on a war from a side which says there is no war? If they as much as draw a breath to say the word they already are arrested...

BOC. They'll have reporters on the Red Square every day, interviewing people.

    Bah! What do you think?

For instance, when reporters gather in Moscow at the Putin's press
conference nobody asks them to deliver their opinion. All they should do
is to deliver the stance of the side they try to report of. Of course
they hardly can participate in war operations and make impartial
reports. Both sides will not allow it. The reporters in war zone are
shown only those things that should be shown in the propaganda war. For instance they certainly should come after Mariupol theater was blown up.
What Russian military say on this account? Nobody interested.

    Bye, Ward!

A reporter can easily choose a person for his report according to what
he is going to report. A good photographer can take pictures of the end
of the world shooting a rubbish heap. ;-)
