I've seen more than one link for an Ambroshia Test of Time web page
fo registration; what is current? I'd love to get this registered.

Can't think of his page off hand ... but I've never seen more than one.

    it's the one on thebbs.org
i think he had a .com too but can't find it anywhere.

    Thanks.

i believe it was ambroshiabbs.com or something. cant find anything on wayback. >deuce apparently ported it years ago.

I would not expect any linux executables downloaded from here to work. My experience is that you can install the stated prereqs and the programs will still complain about a file not being found (and not tell you what file).

Clans has an executable file that is supposed to pick up the proper exec file for your OS but even it complains that it cannot find "clans.linux" even though it is right there, and marked executable, in the same directory.

The JS coded doors might work... I know that LORD does... but I'd not waste time on the pre-compiled ones like ambrosia.

uh. okay. pretty sure you are replying to an old msg. i even went on vert and can't find the one you are replying to.

i have no interest in linux doorgames so not sure what you're talking about.

    did you get some dupes?

okay i found the original msg from december 2023 https://i.imgur.com/j6aa220.png
    https://i.imgur.com/vM0g0Ip.png

they were wondering what the ambrosia site was.

Why are you replying back about linux doors?

Why are you replying back about linux doors?

Because you posted the first bit above, about it being ported and the link
to find the ports. The ports at that website are *nix ports (linux and *BSD). Since you were not the one looking for ambrosia assistance, you might not
    have noticed that.

As for it being old, it was a msg I copied and just got around to checking
out. The ambrosia port, in particular, is one another synchronet sysop repackaged a couple of years back and was trying to share as something they did. It also does not work.

Since I just got around to following up on that message, I wanted to let whoever cares know that if they are looking for a *nix port for ambrosia
they may want to look elsewhere. I didn't pay attention to it being from December. Since there's not been that much traffic here since then, it was
not that many messages ago here.

what i replied to was martin asking about how to contact the author.
he wanted to register the game.

anyways, ambroshia is not my fav doorgame. not a fan.
