Anyone running this? I got the latest release from John Dailey Software, but after installing and resetting it, every time I try to restart it, it
responds that it hasn't been reset. Any ideas? It was free, so it's not
    like I've wasted any money...

I think you have to set your computer's date back prior to 2000 (yeah! Back to the 90s!), then run SRE RESET. This is a Y2K bug. After you reset the game, you can set your date as normal and you should be able to run the game.

There is a section on this in the Netfoss documentation:

    https://pcmicro.com/NetFoss/guide/

I just tried it in Dosbox and it seemed to work. I've been meaning to add this game to my board, so your post was timely.

it's sad that pcmike has to put this in his netfoss documentation.

i suggest people running these games make a fresh install and then archive it. when you want to 'rest', overwrite the old files.

He has some really good information about various problematic door games in that documentation. I think a lot of people could avoid some of the recurring issues if they read it.

Talking about "archiving" game setups... that's a good idea. I keep an archive of all my doors zipped up on Dropbox and I just grab the whole bundle when I crank up a board.
