(Well it was either leave a few letters out of use "Wx" for weather --
not sure how common that abbreviation is.)
What I would like to do is create a Desktop Widget (may be the wrong
term) in Ubuntu 16.04 to display the HTML code for a wUnderground site
which is down the hill from me. The code I'm trying to use is here:
https://www.wunderground.com/personal-weather-station/widgets?ID=KIABETT
E2
and is one of the three options for the center widget. I can get it to
display snipping some of the code, so does work but then it displays full screen because it activates Firefox/a browser. Know the end of the code sequence sizes the box.
So what I want to do is have a desktop widget that acts something along
the lines of Pithos which can be dragged around, is
overwritten/overdrawn when using a differentt active window (so is covered
up when I'm using LibreOffice,
Have seen/tested a few widget options but they either want to install a
full suite programme or aren't really widget creators.
TIA!
