    A WEIRD COMET JUST BUZZED THE SUN: On Aug. 21st, citizen scientists watched a compact point of light zig-zag past the sun like a Hollywood UFO. It was, in fact, an unusual comet swooping 5 times closer to the sun than Mercury.
