Earlier today (July 5) on the classical music radio station
in Little Rock, KLRE (a service of the University Of Arkansas
At Little Rock, and the University of Arkansas For Medical
Sciences), on the show "Classical Guitar Alive", they did a
piece that gave me a new appreciation for guitars.
"The Odessa Duet" (if I remember right), had 2 guitar
players, but they did "Rhapsody In Blue" by George Gershwin.
I had heard it done with just piano, or with piano and full
orchestra, but never with 2 guitars.
Needless to say, I was very impressed!!

Sounds interesting! In general I'm more the AC100 category, but add
another zero: I like variety and don't want to hear the same song over
and over and over again. Do want to hear favourites, but also explore
and so find new favourites.

What is AC100? ..or, AC1000?
Sometimes a tune is VERY good, such as Sultans of Swing, that
it deserves repeat listens!
I love to play the organ and have been doing so since 1963.
Still a hobbyist and not a professional by any means. Stop by

I'll have to check later. ...Guessing an Elvis selection based on the 'Hunk' in the link. <gg>

Sorry. No Elvis :( Maybe someday.

"AC" is 'Adult Contemporary'; '100' refers to the number of
selections in the playlist. The '1000' was a joke category
as I do not like the same music over and over and over. Yes
I have my favourites but I don't like to hear them
constantly.
...Years ago one of the local FM stations changed format --
and call signs. The format change was announced but I don't
think the call sign chnage was. Don't recall the timing but
I think the original announcers and music programming were
removed about a week before the switch. What they did was
play "Cool Change" by The Little River Band non-stop!! Nice
song, but after the 487th play gets on one's nerves. <g>
Reason for the song selection was the new call sign was KUUL
(pronounced 'cool'),
Hi Mike!
You had a Beatles selection, so just a bit further into the archives.
...Of course, your style doesn't appear to be "You Ain't Nothing but a Hounddog. :)

I don't mind MY selections/playlists over and over again. But I
don't always like the repetiveness of what the radio stations do.

Sounds like the station DJ thought it was "cool" to have
discovered such a song that mimicks the sound of the station
callsign - and have the band being domestic too. But yeah..
enuff can be enuff.
I'm rather enjoying my Spotify subscription. I pull complete
albums that might interest me and then play then locally
(offline) for several repeat listens randomized and give the
tunes a chance to be deemed repeat-worthy or not.
Here is a recent playlist that does not tire me at all: https://open.spotify.com/user/6mhrz90aernzucux1fjas12u9/ playlist/6j0WbPbq9kUPUPJUs7cXVW
A short list: 10 songs, at about 42 min.
[1] Fear of the Flame, Logan Staats.
[2] It All Comes Down to Love, Shawn Mullins
[3] Things That Go Bump In The Day, Rodney Crowell
[4] Anthem, Father John Misty
[5] Deadman, Logan Staats
[6] Ignorance Is The Enemy, Rodney Crowell
[7] Georgia Moon, Pierce Pettis
[8] When It Comes Down To It, Tasmin Archer
[9] Somebody's Daughter, Tasmin Archer
[10] Hole In My Heart, Piece Pettis

I'm hoping to do a rendition of 'Superman' in the near future. I
also have a Disney Medley that I'm hoping to do soon.
I have a Pandora account. Sometimes it gets a bit 'repeaty'. [...]
My Pandora station probably defies logic! Rodney Crowell does play;
right now Dean Martin is crooning. Up next is Brian Setzer, then Nana Mouskouri, then the Doobie Brothers....

Pandora seems to be a combination streaming *and* on-demand.
That's not bad.
For a streaming-like solution on my Spotify, the pre-configured
playlists that they offer are pretty good. I get a nice
variety and discover something new that I might like to
download.
